Bobbins!

I made these earrings out of some old wooden bobbins I found in my mummy's thread box. They have a real vintage feel with old style labels and stickers on the ends. I used a flower bead to hold the findings into the bigger hole of the bottom of the bobbin and wrapped some purple threads round them secured with glue. Its such a shame that mostly thread comes on boring plastic bobbins now. 

AND! I have a new store for my earrings, around the edge of a kilner jar, that I keep my kirby grips in. Those dreaded things that you have millions of or not enough and seem to find their way into every nook and cranny in your bedroom (and your boyfriends bedroom much to his disgust).
